Il commento E niente, ridacchio ogni volta che vedo un A24 pensando “Mamma, guarda come sono elevated!”. In realtà Heretic è un discreto film, molto parlato e con dialoghi ben scritti, ma non è lontanamente un horror, giusto un thriller, quasi un “home invasion invertito”. E i discorsi che fa su religione, manipolazione, libertà di scelta, fede, sono tanti, a mio parere tutto sommato confusi e, beh, non penso che faranno riflettere nessuno: da questo punto di vista, il film è un fallimento. Quello che lo rende memorabile è il mefistofelico Hugh Grant, davvero bravo.
