Il commento Il nuovo lungo di Sigme Bauname appare come parzialmente (direi anzi quasi completamente) autobiografico e di stampo chiaramente femminista: come la società plasma i desidere delle donne e come questo vada sono solo contro la loro volontà, ma anche controlo la biochimica di base. L’ironica storia è condita da una serie di brevi canzoni che la punteggiano come un coro greco.
