Il commento Film postapocalittico con grossi debiti, a proprio espliciti, nei confronti del Conan di Miyazaki. Realizzato in un discreto 3D e con una pessima doppiatrice per la protagonista, è una storia che gioca molto con le citazioni. Non è proprio imprevedibile ma coglie il messaggio di libertà a tutti i costi che si era chiaramente proposto, a partire dal titolo.
