Il commento Presentato come un precursore di Scream, in quanto film horror consapevole delle meccaniche dei film horror, è una commedia horror molto più divertita di Scream (e non girata allo stesso livello, ovviamente), con un improbabile mostro alieno, effetti speciali raccapriccianti (ma nel senso sbagliato) e protagonisti antipatici e non relatable (è sicuramente voluto). Il giochino, molto tongue-in-cheek, regge bene e la visione è piacevole. Ci sono, come bonus e come residuo dagli anni ‘80, una quantità di tette ragguardevole, cosa che scomparirà negli horror in seguito.
