Il riassunto Altiero Molino is a twenty-six-year-old digital entrepreneur who’s returning to Ventotene with his model husband in order to gather his old friends together around his ailing father so as to treat him to one last holiday in this place which is so special to him. Il commento Il seguito di “Ferie d’agosto” riprende gli stessi temi aggiornandoli e introducendo altri elementi di satira di costume, ma non solo. Virzì in 30 anni è migliorato molto come regista, e ci sono dei personaggi nuovi eccellenti, tra cui soprattutto un bravo Christian De Sica inusuale, ma la cosa più notevole è su tutto il film aleggia un’aura di morte. Nei personaggi che non ci sono più, in quelli che se ne vanno in questo film, ma anche la morte delle ideologie, delle illusioni, della gioventù. È un film divertente, ma molto amaro, anche per una commedia italiana.
