Il commento Mi aspettavo di più da questo film cult che non avevo mai visto, ma tutto sommato è una storia molto americana. Le vacanze statunitensi dei film sono sempre questi viaggi on the road piani di avventure con una meta che non conta, conta il viaggio, e questo non fa eccezione, ma ha il merito non trascurabile di focalizzarsi sui rapporti padre/figlio, che sono raramente esplorati nei film. Le gag sono piuttosto divertenti, il film è tutto sommato molto prevedibile, ci sono delle canzoni piuttosto bruttine, ma è animato benino. Non certamente un capolavoro, ma ne comprendo lo status di film cult.
