Il commento Una storia di amore e sangue (parecchio) nel mondo del bodybuilding femminile, con atmosfere che risentono molto di Breaking Bad, a partire dall’ambientazione nel New Mexico, ma anche un certo body horror alla Cronemberg, e pure alcuni echi dei Coen. Si capisce quindi che non è l’originalità il forte del film, ma il tutto funziona ed è un film molto duro ma anche molto tenero, girato bene e con ottimi attori.
