Il commento Horror comedy che espande il concetto di “bambola assassina”. Ha un tono leggero, una discreta quantità di gore, è anche abbastanza divertente, ma a me è rimasta la sensazione di qualcosa di completamente inutile, e di aver perso tempo a vederlo.

Il commento Non avevo più rivisto Three Amigos dopo averlo visto al cinema negli anni ‘80, e mal me ne incolga. E’ un film delizioso, molto divertente e con una complessità inaspettata nel modo in cui mescola i vari livelli di realtà e finzione. Il modo in cui il film cambia di tono quando i tre protagonisti decidono di essere eroi è straordinario.

Il commento Piaciuto più per la sceneggiatura che per il soggetto, che alla fine è anche un po’ stupidino e inconcludente, e anche zeppo di luoghi comunu. Però il film è proprio ben scritto, ci sono un sacco di belle battute, si ride e, cosa affascinante, si percepisce proprio come la tensione di stemperi durante la visione: lo spettatore è davvero partecipe. Bella scelta di cast.

Il commento Delizioso film per bambini, che non nasconde il suo target ma che riesce a essere piacevolissimo anche per gli adulti. Gag graziose, commozione, un’inedita Nicole Kidman malvagia e un sottotesto non proprio nascosto sull’immigrazione. Bravi!
Il diario di Bridget Jones

Il commento E’ un film con parecchi difetti: una struttura che solo a tratti rende il tema del diario, le canzoni famose appiccicate senza senso, una regia davvero poverella, qualche macchietta di troppo, a tratti qualche caduta di ritmo. Ma pazienza, c’è un cast perfetto e un personaggio così umano come Bridget non è più stato escogitato. Come non amarla?

Il commento Le due anime di Kitano fuse in un film: una fredda storia di gangster, rinarrata poi in chiave comica. Anche se la prima parte è comunque piacevolissima, è la seconda metà che è memorabile. Fa veramente tanto ridere, anche se le gag sono spesso proprio scemotte. I tempi comici di Kitano sono eccezionali.

Il commento Piccolo grande capolavoro di Carpenter, “Grosso guaio a Chinatown” non perde un filo del suo smalto dopo quarant’anni: il suo eroe cazzone e inutile, l’assurdità giocosa del tutto, la splendida direzione di Carpenter. Persino una cosa fuori moda come “la Cina misteriosa” funziona ancora benissimo. Non stanca mai.

Il commento Il capolavorone iconico di Carpenter non perde il suo smalto. Adoro come tutto sia low-fi, quasi punk: le strade, i mezzi, la tecnologia, persino l’informatica. Non perde un filo del suo smalto oltre 40 anni dopo.

Il commento Più action che horror, con un po’ di ultraviolenza anestetizzante stile the Boys, qualche spunto preso da What we do in the shadows, Reinfeld tutto sommato è un film di vampiri moderno con un buon ritmo e abbastanza divertente. Il discorso sugli “eroi” che prova a fare non è molto riuscito. Nicholas Cage, come sempre, si diverte un sacco a fare il matto.

Il commento Una delle commedie più spassose viste di recente, lungi dall’essere una biografia del cantante scioccherello americano ne è una fan fiction, con numerosi ribaltamenti di prospettiva e un sacco di idee divertenti, sovrapponendo realtà e fantasia. Forse un pochino debole a metà film, ma si riprende, eccome.
